Online Watercolor Workshop
Class Description
In this workshop we will be exploring Sarah’s watercolor process for her painting The Blue Poppy. We will be practicing paint applications including running transparent washes top to bottom with multiple layers, wet into dry, wet in wet and masking fluid application.
Paint along if you like or sit back and just watch. The video will be available for 3 weeks for you to replay and practice.
We will sketch this image together. Sarah will be using masking fluid.
Materials
- Brushes: Sarah will be using large rounds – #16, #14 – and flats.
- Paper: Sarah will be using Arches 140lb Cold press for this painting. 14″ x 20″ format.
Please paint whatever size you like on good quality paper (inexpensive papers are difficult to get the right results from). - Masking Fluid
- Masking Fluid Brush (small cheap round)
- Firm Backing Board
- Masking Tape
- Water Container
- Sponge
- Hair Dryer
- Paper Towels
