Artists & Opportunities
The LPCA supports working artists in an array of disciplines from visual art to contemporary dance. By sharing opportunities for local gallery representation, professional development, funding and residency space, LPCA offers resources to help local artists create a lasting impact on the field and in our communities.
Gallery 46
Gallery 46 represents artists who live or create their work within the Adirondack Park of Northern New York. Applications are accepted year-round from local artists working in all mediums. Selected applicants join an ever-rotating collection featuring dozens of artists.
Artist Submissions
Artists of all mediums are invited to submit their work to LPCA’s two galleries, the Gallery @ LPCA and Gallery 46.
Artist Residencies
The LPCA is committed to nurturing the artistic process. Multi-week creative residencies allow artists to work and create amidst the beauty and tranquility of the Adirondacks. Residencies have included dance companies (Keigwin + Company, EMERGE125), circus (Circumference, Acrobatic Conundrum) and visual artists (Betsy Stewart, Sarah Yeoman).
