Class Description
This workshop will introduce participants to weaving on a 4 shaft floor loom. Students will learn how to prepare a warp, dress a loom, and will weave two long narrow warps that can become a table runner or wall hanging.
This course is intended for beginning weavers or those needing a floor loom “refresher.” The majority of instruction time will be on two successive Saturdays. The instructor will be available for three hours of studio support during the week between. Students are welcome to use the studio on their own and will have three week’s use of the LPCA loom to complete their projects. A final optional two hour wrap-up session will be held at the end of this time.
