Dale E. Skivington is a consultant doing business as Compliance By Design and is the former Vice President of Global Compliance and Privacy at Dell Technologies. She also served as Dell’s Chief Privacy Officer. Dale is a former Assistant General Counsel at Kodak, its first Chief Privacy Officer and was the VP of HR in Europe.
While at Kodak, she chaired the New York State Business Council’s Labor and Human Resources committee, served on the New York Governor’s Task Force on Independent Contractors and the Governor’s Task Force on Sexual Harassment, and was a founding Board Member and Officer of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Dale is currently an adjunct faculty member of the University of Colorado’s Wolf School of Law. She has frequently lectured on compliance, privacy, employment litigation, diversity best practices, and various civil rights and employment law matters.
Dale served on the Board and elected Chair of the Board of ESL Federal Credit Union. She has also served on numerous boards in the Rochester area, including the Rochester City Ballet. She served as a Dell and Kodak management sponsor for its women’s network and is active in the Rochester and Denver Women’s Giving Circle. She currently serves as the president of the Cross Border Data Forum, sits on the Board of the Future of Privacy Forum and serves as a Program Director of the Chief Privacy Officer’s Council of the Conference Board.
Dale and family enjoy spending summers and fall at their camp on Upper Saranac Lake and winters in their home in Denver.
