The Sound of Music (1965)

Spirited young postulant Maria (Andrews) leaves the abbey to become governess to the seven children of strict naval officer Captain Georg von Trapp (Christopher Plummer). Through music and kindness, she brings joy and unity back to the von Trapp household—and helps the family find the courage to face the growing darkness of World War II.
