The Allens
Local Adirondack trio The Allens — songwriter Billy Allen, Shamin Allen (no relation), and Bill Chamberlain — are a longtime fixture in the Saranac Lake music scene. Their original songs are deeply rooted in the region, from Main Street to the Saranac River—hometown love stories “about as local as you can get” (Adirondack Daily Enterprise).
Blending close harmonies with folk-inspired storytelling, the group performs originals that reflect local places and lived experiences. Their lineup sometimes expands to include special guests, adding rich textures to the trio’s signature sound.

Meet the Featured Act
Slough Creek
Americana quartet based in Saranac Lake, NY, featuring Charlie Reinertsen, Bill Chamberlain, Marion Hoelzel, and Jon Zander.
Saranac Lake, NY-based quartet defined by tight harmonies and hold-onto-your-hat instrumental breaks. With songs rooted in place, Slough Creek transports listeners to the sagebrush steppe of Wyoming, woodland streams of the Midwest, salt marsh flats of New England, and the sloughs, fens, bogs, and mires of their Adirondack home.
Brought together by their love of wild places and the power of a good tune, their music bridges contemporary roots music traditions. “If you ask each of our four band mates to tell you what kind of music we play, you might just get an answer for every day of the week.”
