About the Instructor

Ceramist and sculptor Morin Urquhart grew up in Lake Placid where she fell in love with many types of art such as dance, ceramics, and creating in general. As it happens, Morin’s first time taking a ceramic class was right at the Arts Center, making her position very full circle. Morin went on to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts at SUNY Plattsburgh where she concentrated in ceramics and sculpture. Her work focuses on the process of creating and bringing one back to their inner child. Furthermore she enjoys experimenting with different methods and mediums.
