Online Watercolor Workshop
Class Description
Join Sarah as she guides you through a step-by-step painting of a dramatic Adirondack waterfall. Sarah will also be demo-ing imagined landscape waterfalls as a warm up. Reference image and Sarah’s original painting below. We will draw the image together.

Materials
- Brushes: Sarah will be using large rounds #16, #14 and flats.
- Paper: Sarah will be using Arches 140lb cold press in a 12″ x 16″ or 14″ x 20″ format.
Please paint whatever size you like on good quality paper (inexpensive papers are difficult to get the right results from). Sarah suggests Arches 140 lb, Saunders Waterford 140 lb, and Fabriano 140 lb. - Firm Backing Board

This is Sarah’s standard palette for all workshops. You do not have to use the same colors.

• Perm Rose
• Alizarin Crimson
• Burnt Sienna
• Yellow Ochre
• Sepia
• Lavender
• Cerulean
• Cobalt Blue
• Cobalt Turquoise Light or Cobalt Turquoise (Sarah asks that students have one or the other for this class)
