Moving Mountains: Courage, Belonging, and Returning to the Outdoors
Join Kara Richardson Whitely for an exploration of what it truly means to feel welcome in outdoor spaces—across body size, ability, experience level, and life stage. Together, we’ll name the often-invisible barriers that keep many people from returning to the outdoors after long absences or major life changes, and reframe “the outdoors” as a place of curiosity and self-trust—not performance, pace, or perfection.
Discover practical, compassionate ways to take the courageous first steps back into the wild—or into something entirely new—and reflect on how nature can become a partner in healing, resilience, and personal renewal.
