Give us your best shot! The Lake Placid Institute for the Arts & Humanities invites high school students in the Adirondack Park to participate in the annual photography exhibition, capturing a visual interpretation of their surroundings. Photos must be taken within the Adirondacks and represent one hour of the day.
The 24 Hours Photography Exhibition is part of the High School Juried Art Show in the Gallery @ LPCA.

Meet the Juror
Jonathan Zaharek is a professional landscape photographer based in the Adirondacks, with over a decade of experience capturing the natural beauty of some of the most rugged and remote wilderness areas. His work, which highlights the majestic scenery of the Adirondack High Peaks and beyond, has been featured in galleries and publications, showcasing his deep connection to the outdoors. Jonathan’s photography career is marked by his commitment to exploring wild places, telling stories through his images, and pushing the boundaries of creativity and technique. As a full-time photographer, he also conducts workshops and produces nature films, further establishing his expertise and passion for the craft.
