Strata: Wax, Heat and Time

Gallery Hours:
Monday-Friday 10 am – 4 pm
Opening Celebration: Friday, August 21, 4-6 pm

Hudson Valley based artist Laura Moriarty transforms molten beeswax into luminous, layered works shaped by heat, erosion and compression.

Inspired by geological forces, her sculptural paintings and encaustic monotypes evoke deep time and natural transformation. Blurring abstraction and the organic, Moriarty invites viewers to slow down, and experience time made visible.
